What’s New on the 2023 Kia Telluride?

The Kia Telluride is treated to a fairly extensive mid-cycle refresh for the 2023 model year, which is why it now boasts a modernized appearance, more technology and two new trim levels.

The X-Pro and X-Line

Drivers who want a three-row SUV that is more capable and rugged than most should consider the new X-Line and X-Pro trim levels of the 2023 Kia Telluride. These two models adopt a unique style that denotes their readiness for adventure via a unique grille, exclusive black wheels in either 18 or 20-inches and special interior colour packages. The X-Line and X-Pro models are not just for show either since they both benefit from an additional 10 millimetres of ground clearance and improved approach and departure angles. The X-Pro goes even further with standard all-terrain tires and an increased towing capacity, which now sits at 5,500 pounds.

A revised appearance

Every version of the 2023 Kia Telluride is immediately set apart from last year’s model by the changes made to the outside, including new headlamps that feature a different LED insert, a larger grille, new bumpers and new wheels from every trim level. Inside, the main change is the move from two distinct screens to a curved design that brings the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment screen much closer together, as is the case in the EV6 and the new Sportage. This makes it easier for the driver to see and reach important commands while also keeping the interior fresh and up to date.

More technology than ever

In addition to the new curved screen design, the interior of the 2023 Kia Telluride incorporates many new technologies such as the smart power liftgate with auto close, the available camera-based rear-view mirror, and the Speed Limit Assist system which reads speed limit signs and adjusts the vehicle’s speed accordingly. This completes the Telluride’s already long list of standard and available comfort, convenience and safety features.
