The 2023 Kia Niro unveiled in North America this week

Kia is preparing a new generation of the 2023 Kia Niro which will arrive on the market later this year. Unveiled this week at the New York Auto Show, the 2023 Kia Niro promises to surpass your expectations of a small SUV when it comes to its performance, its range, its efficiency, and its interior space and functionality.

A brand-new interior with more space

The 2023 Kia Niro has received multiple improvements, but the most significant changes can be found inside. The new 2023 Kia Niro gets a brand-new interior that is inspired by the new Kia EV6 electric vehicle. The centre console has been redesigned and now features multiple digital controls for a more modern feel while the dashboard is now comprised of two large 10.25-inch center displays. These new displays house wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as new functions such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The Kia Niro also gets improved luxury features such as heated and ventilated seats which also include multiple memory functions.

The 2023 Niro is not just more luxurious and packed with features, it is also more spacious. The new 2023 Kia Niro now offers 646 L of total cargo space along with more interior legroom and headroom as well.

More range from the electrified powertrains

Two other changes made to the 2023 Kia Niro include an larger 11.1 kWh battery for the PHEV version which pushes range up to 53 km, an improvement of 11 km over the previous generation. As for the fully electric version, it gets a new 64.8 kWh battery which translates into 407 km of range compared to 385 in the previous model.
